Fortune 500 company Insight launched its CxO Client Advisory Council in June 2021. They successfully recruited a strong roster of CIOs and technology leaders from a broad range of industries. They have since maintained a cadence of quarterly virtual meetings. Insight recently held their first in-person Council meeting.

The CxO Council provides a platform for industry thought leaders to explore innovative IT solutions. Council members discuss industry trends and opportunities and how to overcome shared challenges. Through the Council, Insight is deepening client relationships. The Council's valuable perspectives help ensure alignment with clients’ future business needs. Council members appreciate connecting with their peers and Insight’s executive leadership team.

This fireside chat features guest speakers from Insight, Gary Richards and Megan Amdahl. Gary and Megan are co-executive sponsors of the CxO Council. They will talk about the value of the CxO Council, learnings from year one and keys to success.

About the Guest Speakers from Insight

Gary Richards recently joined Insight in 2021 as the Senior Vice President of Client Experience and Operations. Richards is responsible for improving client experiences through data and process optimization, and supporting operations tied to sales motions and clients. Prior to Insight, Richards spent 14 years at Dell holding various roles in supply chain, procurement and sales operations. He then spent 10 years leading sales operations for Hewlett Packard before its split, leading him to manage global sales operations for HP Enterprise.

Richards is passionate about demonstrating Insight's values of hunger, heart, and harmony in every client interaction. He accomplishes this by listening to clients and teammates at every opportunity to help effectively provide Insight Intelligent Technology Solutions.

Megan Amdahl joined Insight in 2010 as controller for U.S. operations and has been instrumental in the financial accuracy of U.S. financial statements, internal control compliance and financial reporting. In 2012, she moved up to Vice President of Finance for North America, negotiating and executing on complex transactions and projects, developing systems and processes to support new lines of business, and integrating acquired companies. Megan was promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations for North America with responsibilities in global logistics, supply chain, business transformation and profitable growth. In 2020, Megan assumed leadership of Insight’s strategic partnerships as the Senior Vice President of Partner Alliances.
